Because a customer buys an Internet Site that has to work for years. This is why we use Open Source CMS. A main different is that an open source CMS (Content Management System) is developed by thousands of web developers all around the world, this point makes the Open Source CMS more stable than any company that provide a commercial CMS. The company that provides a commercial CMS may fail stopping any support and products updates, so software owned by a company in some chase get obsolete. Instead with an Open Source CMS, it will never happen. Behind it there are (as we said) thousands of free Web Developers (like us) that carries on the CMS development. We use this metaphor to explain the concept of Open Source: "It would be like to ride a bike ... once you have learned it... you will never forget it and you will always find a bike!" .
This is a deep and complicated technical issue that goes (often) back to the Doctype. When authoring document is HTML or XHTML, it is important to Add a Doctype declaration. The doctype declaration must be exact (both in spelling and in case) to have the desired effect, which makes it sometimes difficult to get all the effects of an Internet site under a Doctype declaration.
It is possible to fix it? Yes it is, the point is that takes long time to fix these little errors that are even not visible and do not affect the site functions or layout. If you want it fixed, it will cost you some Developer Hours extra. This is the reason why big sites (see pictures) don't do it. Fix these errors will make everything more expensive for everyone.
Some site has the W3C Validator logo, how do they do it? Some developer use the W3C logo to show that their site is perfect, yes that is possible it is just to long for daily updated sites.
Is it a SitoMaestro limit? Absolutely not. This is not a problem that concerns only SitoMaestro also other BIG sites (see pictures) have the same... even worst! As you will see in the following pictures more complex is the web page, more mistake are found in it. Click the pictures and read the line "Results" to see how many errors or warnings are found. The "Address" field, is the site address scanned for errors (http://...).
